HillCo Industries reached a new technical milestone at Burning Man 2024, delivering what is recognized as the largest known integration of NDI (Network Device Interface) and GrandMA3 control protocols to date. Tasked with bringing a massive, large-scale art installation to life, our team engineered a "living, breathing" visual experience that pushed the boundaries of remote event technology. Key highlights of this achievement include:

• Massive Scale Control: Precise management of 120 universes of high-density pixel tape, seamlessly synchronized with an extensive array of Astera wireless products.

• Mobile Command & Control: Demonstrating the ultimate in flexible deployment, the entire system was fully managed and operated from a mobile dashboard, proving that enterprise-grade complexity can be controlled from any footprint.

• Cutting-Edge Integration: By merging NDI video protocols with GrandMA3 lighting control, we achieved a level of data-rich responsiveness and visual fluidity rarely seen in such extreme environments.

This installation serves as a powerful case study in HillCo’s ability to execute highly complex, data-intensive engineering projects in the most demanding off-grid conditions on the planet.
